What your kitchen remodel includes

Many Dewey-Humboldt kitchens we remodel are in homes 20 to 40 years old, where electrical, plumbing and layout decisions from another era need a thoughtful hand. We inspect before we price, then stand behind the work with a written warranty.

Project Scopes

Scope, not specifics — until we talk.

We take projects of every size — a single faucet swap, a counter replacement, a refresh, a full remodel, or a top-to-bottom transformation. Use these as scope brackets to think about what you have in mind, and we'll give you a real number once we see the space.

Refresh

Same layout, fresh look

Small to mid-size scope

Could be as small as a counter swap or a faucet upgrade — or as full as new cabinet faces, counters, backsplash and fixtures. Same layout, much better feel.

  • Refaced cabinets or new cabinet boxes
  • New counter slab
  • New backsplash
  • New sink, faucet, lighting
Full Remodel

New everything, same footprint

Mid to large scope

New cabinets, counters, lighting and appliances. Same footprint, but every surface and fixture replaced. Most kitchens land here.

  • New custom cabinetry
  • Quartz counters & backsplash
  • New flooring
  • Recessed and under-cabinet lighting
  • New appliance package
Layout Rework

New footprint, expanded space

Large to fully custom

Wall removals, layout changes, custom cabinetry, premium materials, designer lighting plans. The transformation that changes how the whole house feels.

  • Wall removal & beam install
  • Custom cabinetry, often two-tone
  • Premium quartz or natural stone
  • Custom island with built-in seating
  • Designer lighting plan
One small fix or full custom — both are real projects. We take small jobs and big jobs. Every estimate is a fixed scope, fixed number, fixed schedule. No vague allowances. Call (928) 775-6178 or fill out our form — we will come look at the space, no pressure.

Kitchen FAQ

Questions Yavapai County homeowners ask us every week.

Want to talk to a real person? Call us at (928) 775-6178.

How long can we live without a kitchen during a remodel?
Plan for 4–6 weeks without your real kitchen. We help set up a temporary kitchen in your laundry room or garage with a microwave, mini-fridge, sink and hot plate. Most clients adapt within the first week and are surprised how livable it becomes.
Can we keep our existing layout to save money?
Yes — keeping plumbing and electrical in place dramatically reduces both cost and timeline. We always tell you what's possible to save vs. what's worth investing in. Sometimes a small layout adjustment (like extending the island) creates a much better kitchen for not much more money.
What's the lead time on cabinets?
Custom cabinetry takes longer than stock or semi-custom. We sequence the project to your specific cabinet timeline. We sequence the project around materials, not the other way around — so demolition doesn't start until your cabinets are confirmed and on the way.
Do you handle appliance removal and disposal?
Yes. Old appliances, cabinets, counters and fixtures all go. We can also coordinate appliance purchase if you want — we can connect you with our trade partners for trusted appliance sourcing.
What's the most-asked-for upgrade in Prescott Valley kitchens?
Hands down: opening the kitchen to the great room. Most homes here were built with closed-off kitchens, and opening them up changes the feel of the whole house. It's also a real ROI mover.
Can we live in the house during the remodel?
Almost always, yes. We dust-seal the kitchen workzone with plastic and zippers, keep paths to your bedrooms and bathrooms clear, and clean up the work area at the end of every day. Sleeping in the house, working from home, kids in bed by 8 — all doable.
Do you offer financing?
For larger kitchen projects, yes — we can connect you with several home-improvement financing partners offering plans that fit most budgets. Ask us during your free estimate and we'll walk you through the options.
What if we want to make changes mid-project?
It happens, and we're easy to work with on it. Every change is documented, priced, and signed off before any work shifts — so there are no surprise charges and you're always in the driver's seat.
Do you handle older Dewey-Humboldt homes?
Yes - many kitchens we remodel here are in homes 20 to 40 years old. We inspect before we price, so the fixed proposal already accounts for what we find.
